Home Sweet Home

Welcome to my new blog, "Back to the Breeze".  What's in a name?  Well a lot in this particular one.  After spending time in Texas and Georgia my husband and I decided to pack up our two dogs and new bambino and head back to the breeze, Gulf Breeze that is.  Now that we are closer to old friends, grandparents and the water we are ready to settle down and give this new family life a try.  First things first...  we needed a place to live!  We came down from Atlanta on a whim one weekend to look at several houses my mom and our realtor had lined up.  We found "the" house and made an offer that week.  Now we have a great house and a lot of work to do!!!  We moved down from Atlanta to start renovating and that is where our story starts.

Our tentative "to do" list is 3 pages single spaced.  So, this is going to be a long term project.  However, hopefully after tackling the popcorn ceilings, painting walls and installing new floors the house will be move in ready and we can systematically work on the rest of the list from there!  Before we get ahead of ourselves our first project is the mailbox......
